Demi Moore has check out of the exclusive treatment program at Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah, ending a month long stay for addiction and an eating disorder.
In no hurry to return to L.A., she reportedly went directly from the facility to an undisclosed location where she is vacationing. Sources close to the actress say, “She’s on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people.”
Her world imploded on January 23 with a frantic 911 call indicating that Moore was in extreme distress after smoking “a marijuana incense-like” like substance. Several different people took the phone during the 10 minute conversation with an emergency dispatcher. The 49-year-old is believed to have been smoking K2 spice, a synthetic cannabis.
Things started to take a bad turn for Moore around the time she initiated divorce proceedings against her estranged husband Ashton Kutcher following his widely publicized cheating scandal.
The public humiliation seemed to put the actress into a downward spiral that included excessive weight loss and increased drug use.
