Donald Trump ended LaToya Jackson‘s journey on Celebrity Apprentice 4 last night with a few choice words: “LaToya, you’re fired.”
The NBC reality show ride was decidedly rocky for Jackson, who has been the target of NeNe Leakes and Star Jones. Until now, the real estate mogul has protected the soft spoken member of Team ASAP.
The teams were tasked with developing a four-page conceptual ad campaign to promote the Trump Hotel Collection. They were judged on overall pitch, creativity, originality, and brand messaging.
As one might expect, neither Team Backbone nor ASAP came up with a Trump-worthy concept. John Rich led the remaining three men and Star Jones bullied the five women.
Team ASAP’s ads were likened to a flyer from a strip club that you might find stuck under your car wiper-blade. Their photos featured Hope Dworaczyk, the 2010 Playboy Playmate of the Year, lounging in a bathtub amid rose-petals and bubbles.
Backbone featured a photo of a white gloved waiter for their theme of Live The Life. Their written narrative was “long-winded” and had no call to action — with no website or telephone number anywhere on the four-page spread.
In the end, the prickly executives tasked with judging the two concepts nearly held their noses– calling the ads “more of a car wreck than an ad campaign.”
As LaToya was leaving Trump Towers in the back of a taxi, she summed it all up with: “Star Jones is very manipulative and conniving.”
