Beyonce Knowles was part of the “Millennium Celebration” in Ethiopia where she performed at the capital of the Horn of Africa nation.
A surprise to many – 5,000 fans showed up to take in the show. Ethiopia tends to be a country that sticks to it’s own music and is not usually impressed with Western music. Beyonce Knowles received a crazed welcome and the country seemed to be overjoyed with the stars presence.
The singer told the Ethiopian audience “You have been one of the best audiences of my lifetime.”
