Just because Apollo Nida is serving an eight-year prison sentence that doesn’t mean he can’t figure out new and interesting ways to make life miserable for his estranged wife, Phaedra Parks.

In Apollo’s first prison interview, the felonious father of two begs his wife to take him back (good luck with that), or at the very least, bring their young sons to visit him behind bars.

“I can’t see why she would continue to hurt me by not allowing me to see my boys,” Apollo told In Touch. “This isn’t right. If I don’t see my children for eight years, that would be some bullsh-t, and I would fight for that right.”

“Who in their right mind would allow children to be away from their father for eight years, regardless of where their father is in the world?”

“If she leaves, it would hurt like hell,” Nida says of Parks. “But as Apollo Nida has done before, I’ll just have to pick myself up and move forward and figure it out.”

Apollo was a grade-A douche throughout his marriage, but especially in the months leading up to his sentence, during which he basically abandoned his family in favor of bars and strip clubs.

So yeah, we can see why Phaedra wants nothing to do with the guy, but she should still let Apollo see his kids. If only so that he’ll stop griping about her in magazines.
