Angelina Jolie is in Iraq carrying out her duties as a UN goodwill ambassador. Her mood continues to be very upbeat, as captured by photographers in Baghdad. There has been wide speculation that the new jubilant mood of Angelina is in large part due to pregnancy.
The photos show Angelina dining with U.S. troops stationed in Iraq’s Green Zone. Jolie was able to meet General David Petraeus, top U.S. commander and also spoke with Iraq’s Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki.
The star told NBC’s news anchor and friend Anne Currey, during her last pregnancy with daughter Shiloh, that a giddiness had overtaken her and she couldn’t help giggling all the time. While Jolie is tending to her humanitarian responsibilities , partner Brad Pitt is at home with the couples four children.
