Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine has taken a controversial Twitter stand against the MTV Video Music Awards.
The rocker and his group were not nominated this year and it may or may not have colored his opinion when he ‘tweeted’:
Minutes later MTV responded:
Levine thought about it for awhile, and unlike others who have made bold statements and later rescinded their comments, he has decided to let him words stand … at least for now:
