The seat vacated by Christina Yang was given to Bailey on Grey’s Anatomy Season 11 Episode 3, leaving Alex out in the lurch. Will he ever have anything good happen to him?

Besides, that is, his budding friendship with Meredith? (Yes, he probably will. We just have to be patient.)

Alex didn’t get the seat on the board, but he does have a growing friendship with Meredith, who does NOT have a growing friendship with her new sister.

Seriously. How many new sisters can one girl get as an adult?

Eventually, Meredith and Webber are going to find their way to a relationship with Maggie, but until then we get to watch an interesting family dynamic play out on television. (Again.)

Derek might even be able to help if Meredith would just, you know, tell him. If you watch Grey’s Anatomy online, you know that the McDreamys aren’t in a great place right now. They’re not communicating. They’re blaming each other.

They’re a family. They have to get this together because they ARE the series. They have to work this out.

CalZona are a step ahead of them even if they’re not communicating as well as they could be either. Callie knows that Arizona isn’t ready for a baby, despite her excitement last week about growing their family.

What did you think of this weeks’ Grey’s?
