Following a long distance courtship that required the young couple to get to know one another via Skype, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard got married over the weekend in a ceremony that can only be described as Duggar-sized.
More than 1,000 guests were on hand to see Jill and Derick tie the knot.
As a result of the strict dating rules enforced by Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, physical contact between Jill and Derick was extremely limited, meaning that the ceremony concluded with Jill Duggar receiving her first kiss!
As you might expect, the moment was a bit awkward.
Prior to tying the knot, the Jill and Derick had done little more than hold hands. They hugged on one occasion, and even that was a violation of the Duggar family’s dating rules.
No wonder these people breed like rabbits once they’re finally allowed to touch!
Anyway, we’d like to offer our congrats to Jill and Derick. It may be slow going at first, but we’re sure you two will enjoy the honeymoon!
