The 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards honored best achievements in film and television last night at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, broadcast simultaneously by TNT and TBS.

The Guild presented veteran comedic actor Dick Van Dyke with the Annual Life Achievement Award.

Picking up Outstanding Performance awards in the film category were Daniel Day-Lewis and Tommy Lee Jones for ‘Lincoln,’ Anne Hathaway for ‘Les Mis,’ and Jennifer Lawrence for ‘Silver Linings Playbook.’

The big award, Best Motion Picture, went to Ben Affleck and the cast of ‘Argo.’ The director-producer-actor revealed that he has been rocking a good luck charm from his daughters while attending the long string of January award events – see what it is here.

Winners for television performances included Kevin Costner, Julianne Moore, Bryan Cranston, Claire Danes, Alec Baldwin, and Tina Fey.

The cast of ‘Downton Abbey’ received Best Ensemble Drama Series and ‘Modern Family’ won Best Ensemble Comedy Series. Stunt Ensemble Series honors went to ‘Game of Thrones.’
