Production on the set of ‘Iron Man 3’ has been temporarily halted because the star of the film, Robert Downey Jr., is hobbling around on one leg.
The actor injured his ankle while doing one of his own stunts on location in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Marvel Studios confirmed the news in a brief statement, “There will be a short delay in the production schedule while he recuperates.”
The 47-year-old veteran actor is reprising the role of Tony Stark in the third installment that is slated to hit theaters on May 3, 2013.
