The Team USA beach volleyball duo of Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings won their third gold medal on Wednesday, the first team to do so in their sport.

Coming into the London Games as two-time Olympic gold medalists, the dynamic duo faced off in an All-American match-up with fellow teammates Jen Kessy and April Ross, defeating their opponents 21-16, 21-18.

Kerri, 33, and Misty, 35, did a dance in the sand to celebrate their amazing Olympic winning streak that now stands at 21 consecutive games.

After 11 years of competing with the same partner, May-Treanor is retiring from the sport. Her first words after the win, “I’m a little speechless right now. I can’t believe this is my last match.”

Walsh got emotional too, “I’m really proud of finishing the journey with Misty the way we finished it. I’m glad she went out the way she deserved to.”
