Former “Bachelorette” star Kasey Kahl was arrested Friday morning for allegedly assaulting a man and woman outside a nightclub while under the influence of alcohol and the drug toluene — an inhalant associated with paint thinners.
Prosecutors determined there was enough evidence to charge Kahl in the incident which took place on January 15th of this year, and a warrant for his arrest was issued this morning.
Kahl, who also starred in “Bachelor Pad 2” last year, was taken into custody and booked into an Orange County, CA.
The 29-year-old allegedly attacked Richard Cheney and his girlfriend outside a nightclub in Fresno while drunk and on drugs. He has been charged with two counts of felony assault, one count of battery with serious bodily injury and one count of public intoxication.
Reps for Kahl have maintained his innocence and accused the alleged victims of antagonizing him to get their “15 minutes of fame.”
The reality star faces up to eight years in prison if convicted on all four felony charges.
