Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized following a car versus truck crash today near Santa Monica.
The actress was driving a black Porsche, a rental, on the Pacific Coast Highway when she ran into the back of an 18-wheeler. Her assistant was riding in the passenger seat.
There was significant front end and bumper damage, a passenger window was shattered and the airbags deployed. Lindsay told officers at the scene that she was cut off by the 18 wheeler.
Lohan’s assistant suffered minor injuries including bruises and “some bleeding” and was transported to a nearby hospital in an ambulance.
The Mean Girls celeb also made her way to a hospital emergency room to be checked out. Police report that her injuries are not serious.
The actress spent most of the week aboard a yacht at Marina del Rey filming a Lifetime movie titled ‘Liz and Dick.’
