Pop singing sensation Justin Bieber is the latest celebrity to be accused of pushing around a member of the paparazzi.
He and girlfriend Selena Gomez were hanging out at the Commons at Calabasas Shopping Center when the alleged altercation took place.
Word has it a photographer was taking pictures of the love birds while blocking their car. Bieb got out of his ride and reportedly shoved the camera guy before making a hasty exit with his girlfriend in tow.
The paparazzo complained of pain in his upper torso and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance, where he was treated and released.
An LAPD investigator will determine if there is any merit to the claim of misdemeanor battery. The investigation will include interviews with both Justin and Selena about the scuffle.
Witnesses indicate that a man on the scene, thought to be a lawyer, instructed the photographer to get checked out at a hospital because a case against the kid with deep pockets could mean big money.
