The three remaining celebrity finalists put their best foot forward last night with two routines on Dancing with the Stars.
First on the agenda was the judges choice. William Levy and Cheryl Burke performed a Cha-Cha-Cha. Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas were asked to showcase a Paso Doble. Donald Driver and his partner Peta Murgatroyd demonstrated their Argentine Tango.
The second round was the anything-goes freestyle round. Two of the judges awarded all three couples perfect scores for their no-holds-barred choreography.
In fact the entire night held little drama because the official panel was throwing 10’s around with reckless abandon. Even cranky judge Len Goodman awarded four perfect scores, though he did withhold one top mark for Levy and Driver. Check out the leaderboard:
After the nationwide vote is factored into last night’s performance scores the couples will get one more chance to dance in front of the judges during Tuesday’s finale. One couple will walk away with the mirrorball trophy.
If you were thinking that Jenkins and Ballas are a shoe-in … not so fast. Last week the top performers, Maria Menounos and Derek Hough, were eliminated. We’re guessing it could all come down to a popularity contest. That said, we’ll go out on a limb and suggest that a certain Green Bay Packer wide receiver has a leg up. Go Donald!
