Former West Wing actor Timothy Busfield stands accused of inappropriate sexual contact that allegedly occurred during a movie date in Sherman Oaks.
Busfield and an unidentified woman were watching a film at ArcLight Cinemas when he reportedly made unwanted physical advances toward his movie companion.
According to his disgruntled date, they shared some kisses before the actor began groping her breasts and genital area. At that point she abruptly left the theater.
The following day the woman filed a police report claiming sexual battery. Police plan to speak to the actor to hear his side of the story.
The Emmy Award-winning actor and director has not responded to requests for comment.
