She tweets, “Oh my goth” …
Katy Perry wasn’t rocking her pastels last night, opting instead for a very dark and serious look while attending a red carpet event at The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in L.A.
The entertainer was on hand to accept Artist of the Year honors at the 2012 NARM Music Biz Awards dinner party.
She was rocking a sheer black panel dress that nearly covered her studded heels, dark purple hair, smokey eyes, dark lipstick and a rosary bead necklace. Her normal wide smile was replaced by a decidedly mysterious facial expression.
NARM President Jim Donio said, “Katy‘s music was absolutely everywhere over the past year, and her dominance of the singles charts is a nearly unprecedented accomplishment. She has unquestionably blossomed into a true global superstar and has earned this Award in every sense of the word.”
