The third week of Dancing with the Stars featured the celebrity contestants and their pro partners performing a routine based on the theme ‘The Most Memorable Year of My Life.”
Eleven couples brought their best Samba, Rumba, Foxtrot, Waltz, Jive and Salsa to the dance floor with a great deal of emotion.
Unlike last week, the judges were generous with scores and the entire field was scored between 29-24, with five pairs tied in the bottom rung as seen in the leaderboard standings:
The top performance of the evening featured Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas. She dedicated her dance to her father who died of cancer 15 years ago when she was 16. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba remarked, “It appeared that you had two partners in the dance because it was almost like your father’s arms were wrapped around you.”
Jack Wagner dedicated his dance to his love child Kerry, an adult daughter that he did not know existed until last fall.
Who will go home tonight? In a surprising turn of events there were no clinker performances so last night’s viewer voting will be more about popularity than performance this week.
