Nicki Minaj brought the 54th Annual Grammys to a close last night with a performance that left many wondering…’What was that?’
The 29-year-old rapper performed her latest song Roman Holiday that began with her confessing to a priest. That was followed by an exorcism, levitating, dancing monks, pyrotechnics and religious imagery.
The performance was choreographed by Laurieann Gibson, who dubbed it “the exorcism of Nicki’s alter ego Roman.”
Twitter went crazy after the performance. We found the funniest tweet to be, “Stevie Wonder was the luckiest man in the crowd at the Nicki Minaj performance.”
