Halle Berry has managed to make Gabriel Aubry miserable in the past but things are about to get far more complicated if a judge allows her to relocate to France with their daughter Nahla.
According to a TMZ report, the actress is fed up with Los Angeles and plans to move to France with her nearly 4-year-old daughter to live with her boyfriend Olivier Martinez on his home turf.
Aubry, an international model, shares joint custody of their child. The actress has fought him in court on numerous occasions to change the custody arrangement but thus far he has been able to maintain the status quo.
Nahla’s nanny is the central figure in the arrangement, remaining with the child as she is shuttled back and forth between parents. Aubry was recently accused of shoving the caregiver and verbally abusing her. A judge has taken the matter under advisement and ordered him to attend an anger management class.
While filming Dark Tide, Berry agreed to pay her ex-boyfriend a considerable amount of money to travel with her and Nahla to South Africa. He maintained custody of the little girl whenever her mother was filming.
A temporary situation is a far cry from a permanent move to another continent and we’re guessing he’ll fight this one aggressively.
Aubry, a French-Canadian, is currently under contract with Wilhelmina Models in New York City and Beatrice Model agency in Milan, Italy.
