After a short dream career as a Victoria’s Secret model, Simi Valley native Kylie Bisutti walked away because her Christian values were being compromised.
The 21-year-old said, “Victoria’s Secret was my absolutely biggest goal in life, and it was all I ever wanted career-wise. I actually loved it while I was there, it was so much fun and I had a blast.”
That said, she walked away because she could no longer justify showing her body to anyone except her husband.
Bisutti explains, “The more I was modeling lingerie, and lingerie isn’t clothing, I just started becoming more uncomfortable with it because of my faith. My body should only be for my husband and it’s just a sacred thing.”
Kylie won the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Model Search competition broadcast on CBS, affording her the opportunity to walk in the annual runway show alongside Victoria’s Secret Angels Heidi Klum and Miranda Kerr.
She has since gravitated to working in the entertainment industry and hasn’t ruled out mainstream modeling in the future.
