New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was named MVP of Super Bowl XLVI after completing 30 of 40 passes for 296 yards and a touchdown.

This is his second MVP career win. Not only will he pick up some lucrative endorsement deals but was presented with the keys to a shiny new 2012 Corvette Grand Sport convertible with a 6.2-liter V-8 rated at 436 horsepower and 424 pound-feet of torque. In addition he received a silver trophy handcrafted by Tiffany & Company.

The Giants managed to knock off the NFL leading Green Bay Packers in the playoffs, and took that momentum all the way to a huge season ending championship over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

A stat that is also going down in the record books is the fact that the Giants set a record for the poorest regular season record (9-7) by a Super Bowl champion.
