Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ star Lisa Vanderpump will not be getting a spin-off show.
The spin-off, which would focus on the restaurants Vanderpump owns, was not picked up by Bravo.
“Lisa was hoping to follow in the footsteps of New York housewife Bethenny Frankel who had her own successful spin-offs focusing on her wedding and new baby but the network decided not to pick up her show,” a source tells Radar Online.
There has been no shortage of drama on RHOBH during the first two seasons, which included the break-up of Camilla Grammer’s marriage to Kelsey Grammer, the suicide of Taylor Armstrong’s husband Russell Armstrong, and Kim Richards’ struggle with addiction and subsequent stint in rehab.
Season 2 saw the addition of Eddie Cibrian’s ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, who still seems bitter over the split. (Cibrian’s affair with current wife LeAnn Rimes, who was also married at the time, was the catalyst for the divorce.)
Part 1 of the reunion show aired last Monday, and the previews for part 2, which airs February 6th, promise even more drama.
Season three shake-ups seem to be in the works, with reports that Camille, Kim and Taylor may not return. It is also being reported that producers have approached Sylvester Stallone’s wife, Jennifer Flavin, as a potential new Housewife.
