It is a sad time for singers Aaron Carter and Nick Carter. Their 25-year-old sister Leslie Carter died yesterday in Upstate New York.
The family released this statement, “We are grieving right now and it’s a private matter. We are deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter. We request the utmost privacy during this difficult time.”
Leslie, a singer, married her husband Mike Ashton in 2008 and moved to Toronto. In 2011 they welcome their first and only child, Alyssa Jane.
Her single, Like Wow! was featured on the Shrek soundtrack in 2001. She also signed a record deal with Dreamworks Records and began working on a debut album but never released it.
