Radio shock jock Howard Stern has signed on to replace Piers Morgan on America’s Got Talent. His larger-than-life personality will definitely bring a whole new dynamic to the broadcast.

When rumors first surfaced that Stern was at the top of NBC’s list, the Parents Television Council thought he was to “raunchy’ for prime-time.

Stern will hit the road in February for the audition phase of the competition but then it will be back to New York City for the live shows. NBC and AGT have decided to change their production venue so that Stern is able to continue with his popular Sirius XM radio show. Now that’s some clout!

Morgan announced last month that he would be leaving the reality talent contest in order to concentrate on his CNN gig.

Will the barb-tongued Stern be a good fit alongside veteran judges Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne? Feels like a genius move to us. Your thoughts?
