The Biggest Loser: Battle of the Ages is down to three contestants who will vie for the top prize during the NBC live season finale on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, 9/8 central.
In a format change this season, all of the contestants were invited back to run a 26.2 mile desert marathon, with the winner guaranteed a chance to win the $250,000 cash prize. In previous season two of the competitors would rely on viewer votes to join the other two finalist–not knowing until the live show which would compete for the big prize.
Ramon Medeiros, a Florence, Colorado tattoo artist, won the race and picked up a check for $25,000.
At the final weigh-in, Becky and Vinny were eliminated, leaving Antone Davis and John Rhode, 40, to face young Ramon next week.
Anton, 44, is a Knoxville, TN restaurant owner and former NFL player. He was goaded into a lively exchange of trash talk with the extremely intense John, a teacher and football coach from Mesa, AZ.
Rhode taunted, “I’m not going to be happy until I’m pulling confetti out of my hair.” Davis shot back, “I’ve slayed bigger dragons than that.”
Savvy Ramon, 27, has a strategy of his own. He plans to let the two older guys wear themselves out while he cruises straight to the finish line.
The combined starting weight of these three top competitors is an amazing 1,247 lbs. How low can they go?
