The star-studded cast of New Year’s Eve came out for the movie’s black carpet premiere Monday night at Hollywood’s famed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

A giant disco ball set the mood at the event, which brought many of the celeb-laden movie’s stars together for the first time.

With an ensemble cast including Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, Zac Efron, Robert De Niro, Halle Berry, Jon Bon Jovi, Jim Belushi, Abigail Breslin, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Common, Josh Duhamel, Hector Elizondo, Katherine Heigl, Joey McIntyre, Lea Michele, Alyssa Milano, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Sofia Vergara, and Yeardley Smith, among others, director Garry Marshall said the most difficult part of filming was the scheduling. “Trying to see which actors could appear on which day,” he said. “It was hard to get some of them together.”

Ashton Kutcher arrived alone and seemed a bit press shy in the wake of his cheating scandal and split from wife Demi Moore, ducking behind his love interest in the romantic comedy, Lea Michele.

Glee castmates including Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Darren Cris, Harry Shum Jr., and Kevin McHale came out to support Lea, who was given top-billing premiere status at the event.

Katherine Heigl walked the mile-long black carpet with husband Josh Kelley, and Fergie accompanied husband Josh Duhamel.
