Nobody was more surprised than Jack Wagner to discover earlier this month that he has a 23-year-old daughter named Carrie, a love child from a 1980’s relationship.
The actor and musician was getting set to play a gig with Rick Springfield in Boca Raton, Florida when a young woman approached him with a photo and an interesting story about her adoption, as well as the recent search for her biological parents.
She explained that her mother gave her up at birth and she was raised by adoptive parents in New York City. Carrie recently hired a private investigator to uncover her true roots and the search eventually led her to Wagner.
Her proof must have been compelling because they both engaged in a tearful embrace and have been inseparable ever since. The musician introduced her during his concert the following evening.
Suddenly the split between Jack and Heather Locklear takes on a new spin. When he told reporters last week that they were unable to spend quality time together because of their individual family obligations, no one would have guessed that he was referring to the sudden addition of a newly-discovered daughter.
Jack has invited Carrie to join him for Thanksgiving with his 21-year-old twin sons Peter and Harrison.
