Bieber at top of Empire State Building on Friday …

Despite the fact that Mariah Yeater‘s paternity suit against Justin Bieber has lost all credibility, the entertainer decided to remove any lingering doubt by providing a sample of DNA material for the test.

Most testing facilities rely on a cheek swab to obtain DNA material, though it is unclear if that was the basis for this particular test.

The original lawsuit alleged that Justin fathered Yeater’s three-month-old son. Bieber claimed he had never even met Mariah. One set of lawyers quit when things began to unravel but another legal eagle snapped up the tainted case and has attempted to settle out of court. The pop singer flatly refused.

Justin provided the sample at a lab in New Jersey on Friday night. The 10 minute process was managed under a strict chain of control that was captured on surveillance cameras.

The ball is now in Yeater’s court to bring her infant son in for the purpose of collecting a DNA sample from him. Will she?

Bieber’s camp has been clear on one point. After the tests proves he is not the baby daddy, his lawyers plan to sue the woman and her lawyer. They haven’t yet specified their claims but defamation, false accusations and attempted fraud all come to mind as possible places to start.
