Lea Michele covers the December issue of Allure magazine and chats about Glee rumors, her looks, her eating habits and provides a few other diva tidbits.

The actress-singer admits that she has previously been pressured to alter her appearance. “My mother would say to me, ‘Barbra Streisand never got a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’ And this was before I really even knew who Barbra was. I just knew that she was, like, the messiah for girls like me.”

She finds it hard to accept that she is good looking, “I never thought people would think I was attractive enough to star opposite Ashton Kutcher.” The pair are cast as lovers in the upcoming holiday film New Year’s Eve, in theaters beginning December 9.

The photos in the Allure issue appear to channel old Hollywood glam and are a little risque, which is nothing new for the actress who caused a ruckus when she posed in a sexy school girl outfit for a 2010 GQ magazine shoot.

Despite the fact that her character is a teenager on Glee, she is an adult — a fact that some people fail to acknowledge. She will undoubtedly be criticized for her latest photo spread and wants her critics to know, “We’re not high school students! Cory is almost 30, and Dianna and I are 25.”
