For weeks Rihanna has been teasing her fans with behind the scenes footage and photos from the We Found Love video shoot, but finally fans can watch it in its entirety.

The video, from the first single on her Talk That Talk album, has the internet buzzing that the subject matter was inspired by her chaotic relationship with Chris Brown.

The decidedly dark look at love and substance abuse opens with a woman speaking about the pain and hopelessness of loving someone too much. Shot in Northern Ireland, it chronicles a very dramatic and unhealthy relationship.

Rihanna’s leading man is British boxer and model Dudley O’Shaughnessy. Sporting bleach blonde hair, he definitely resembles Chris Brown.

The most obvious nod to her former relationship is the fight scene in a car. Though not extremely violent, we see flashes of police lights that harken to the night in 2009 that the songstress was brutalized by her real life boyfriend.

Rihanna explained the vibe she was trying to achieve, “We’ve never done a video like this before. This is probably one of the deepest videos I’ve ever done. It’s all about love and love being like a drug, you definitely get that from this.”
