There were nine remaining celebrity contestants at the start of Tuesday night’s Dancing with the Stars elimination show. That number has now dwindled to eight.
Movie-themed dance performances on Monday night garnered mediocre scores, with the exception of Ricki Lake and her pro partner Derek Hough. They were awarded the first 10’s of the season from Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. Cranky judge Len Goodman tossed in a 9 for a near perfect composite score of 29.
The next best dancers have consistently been J.R. Martinez and his pro partner Karina Smirnoff. They received a solid 26 for their Pink Panther inspired performance.
The remaining seven scored 20-24: Ranging from lowest to highest they were Carson Kressley, Chynna Phillips, Nancy Grace, Chaz Bono, David Arquette, Hope Solo, and Rob Kardashian.
Previously eliminated celebrities during the thirteenth season have been Ron Artest, Elisabetta Canalis and Kristin Cavallari.
Landing among the bottom three tonight were Nancy Grace and Rob Kardashian but they were both given a last minute reprieve.
The eliminated celebrity turned out to be Chynna Phillips and her pro partner Tony Dovolani. The actress suffered an anxiety attack at the beginning of her performance on Monday night and was unable to properly execute the routine.
