Bottom of the pack … which couple got the boot?
It was elimination night Tuesday on the ABC hit reality show Dancing with the Stars. Eleven competitors performed on Monday night and after the viewer votes were tallied, one couple reached the end of the line.
This week the celebrities and their pro partners hit the dance floor to demonstrate their expertise with the Jive and the Quickstep. According to the leader board, four of the couples hovered at the bottom of the pack and the possibility of elimination.
Highlights from performance night included a decidedly racy rendition of Hey Ya! by Ricki Lake and Derek Hough. Their age difference of 16 years made this an unlikely decision but they managed to pull it off with flying colors, ending up at the top of the scoreboard.
The Celebrity Oops! moment belonged to Nancy Grace, who jiggled a body part out of her costume at the end of a Quickstep, that was ironically titled “It Don’t Mean a Thing, If It Ain’t Got That Swing.”
During the first week of competition, Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace had the unfortunately distinction of being the first castaway.
This week David Arquette landed in the bottom two but the eliminated player ended up to be Elisabetta Canalis, despite the fact that she finished stronger than four other performers on Monday night .
George Clooney‘s ex-girlfriend will be heading back to Italy after just two weeks of competition.
