Rumors have been circulating that Christina Aguilera has worn out her welcome as a coach on The Voice. Several website have suggested that too many diva moments have led network executives to consider not renewing the singer’s contract.
She is alleged to have ignored the contestants while spending too much time on set with her boyfriend.
Not so says NBC. “There is absolutely no truth to the rumor,” according to Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President of Alternative Programming.
That said, it appears that the lone female coach is still considered an asset to the reality singing show. Other coaches include Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
Season two of The Voice kicks off Sunday, February 5 after the Super Bowl.
