The Game has been in the news recently for a Twitter prank gone wrong. A friend stole the rapper’s phone and ‘tweeted’ out that he was looking for interns and to call “this” number if interested. Big problem…the number was for the LAPD.
The former member of G-Unit claims that cops received thousands of phone calls within minutes. Game swears he had no idea and even appeared on a CNN Breaking News segment to clarify what really happened.
He continues to proclaimed his innocence to our reporter Danni Starr backstage at the VMAs in L.A. He laughed it off and said it was a joke and that the charges have all been dropped.
The Game likes teaming up with Chris Brown because they are two artists who often fall victim to media scrutiny.
When asked who he is excited to see here at the MTV VMA’s, Mr. Too Cool For School said, “No one.” He figures this is his home town so he just shows up.
