Brandy Norwood will be joining the cast of 90210 on the CW Network. She is thrilled about her new position but is a little bummed that she wasn’t the first to share the news.
The 32-year-old entertainer tweeted: “I can’t tell you starz nothing first…lol! Yes I’m going to be on #90210 for multiple episodes and I will be playing a politician!!! YIKES!”
Brandy will be cast in the role of Marissa Jackson-Lewis, a young up-and-comer who is running for Congress in California. She’ll make her show debut in October.
The talented musician and former Dancing with the Stars standout competitor admits, “I have the acting bug, singing bug, and all around ENTERTAINMENT bug! Ready to inspire and fulfill my new dreams all over again! Pray 4 me.”
