Times are tough for some and not so shabby for others. Rapper Soulja Boy plunked down $55 million this week for a private jet, a 21st birthday present to himself.
The going rate on a G5 jet is $35 million but the entertainer decided to go the distance and has dropped another $20 million to have his ride pimped out.
What kind of enhancements are we talking? A new paint job that includes his personal logo, a luxurious bathroom, 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TV’s, 4 liquor bars, Brazilian hardwood cabinets and Travertine tile floors.
Soulja is also throwing himself a birthday bash in Miami, shelling out $300,000 for the gig. The rapper’s guest list includes Sean Kingston, Bow Wow and Dwight Howard.
Soulja Boy’s star-studded party will be a live stream event, beginning at 11:00 p.m. eastern tonight.
