Rebecca Black became an internet sensation in March after the 13-year-old uploaded the song Friday to YouTube. The self-produced tune went viral and got 25 million hits. Now she is trying it again.
My Moment was released yesterday and has already racked up over a million hits. The song is about empowerment and all the haters who didn’t like her last viral hit– a response to the parody of Friday also went viral, with 12 million hits.
The new song was written by Brandon “Blue” Hamilton and Quinton Tolbert, and the production credits include Charlton Pettus.
The two-hit wonder is also working on a 5-track EP that is slated to be released in August.
