Country music star Carrie Underwood and her Nashville Predators hockey player husband, Mike Fisher, have purchased a tract of land in rural Williamson County, TN, for $2.9 million.

In addition to the 354 acre tract, the couple also snapped up another 50 acre adjoining parcel for $350,000.

“They were really good to deal with,” said Ardavan Afrakhteh, president of Landsouth Tennessee, who sold the property to Underwood and Fisher. “I dealt with Mike, and he was really down to earth.”

After the couple were married last year, it was reported they would be moving to Canada, however, Fisher was traded to the Predators from the Ottawa Senators earlier this year.

Underwood still owns a home in Franklin, TN, which she purchased in 2005 for $384,000.
