With no hope of an N’Sync reunion anytime soon, Lance Bass has been keeping himself busy producing reality television shows. The former boy band member has created and sold six shows to networks, including VH1.
The show he is most excited about is a music show that scouts amazing talent in order to form the ultimate boy band. To help with his latest project he has enlisted the assistance of some of his other boy band friends.
Locked into the deal are Backstreet Boy member A.J. Mclean, fellow N’Sync member Joey Fatone, and Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Block. Bobby Brown from New Edition is also expected to join.
With a lineup like that, the show looks promising. Bass said: “It’s a really great music show, starring all your favorite boy bands. It’s going to be really fun.”
The show will be similar to The Voice, but with groups rather than solo acts. Bass explained: “They’re all going to form a boy band, from the most talented guys in America that I’ve scouted, and then they’ll go head-to-head in a competition to see who the best band is, so it’s bragging rights for the celebrity guy in the group, for sure.”
