Denise Richards is set to launch her memoir titled Denise Richards: The Real Girl Next Door. Instead of being a Charlie Sheen tell-all, it will detail her life and weave in snippets of the “beautiful love story” that she shared with ex-husband and resident bad boy .
Richards has decided not to focus negatively on their nasty divorce but wants to share how she dealt with the aftermath. It will be her tell-all.
The memoir, already available for pre-order from Amazon.com, will be officially released on July 26, which means that we’ll be seeing the actress doing the talk show circuit to drum up some sales.
Denise has stayed pretty tight-lipped where Sheen is concerned, choosing not to become part of his recent drama. If you were expecting her to trash him to sell books, think again. It isn’t going to happen. From her description and the title, it sounds like a touchy-feely fluff piece. Forgive us if you enjoy that sort of thing.
In an interview with OK! magazine, Denise said: “It is about how it is a struggle and we had one of the worst divorces so if we get into a good place, that’s great…People have only gotten the rotten stuff so you know, there was a beautiful love story between he and I and I know that it went the way it went, but I talk more about how I felt during that time because I feel like women can relate to that, going through a divorce and custody and being a single parent and trying to work and all that stuff.”
There will be no salacious details, and no new revelations. With that established, will you read Richards memoirs? For that matter, will anyone?
