First official black tie event for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge …
The lovely Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has been photographed only three times, while engaged in royal activities, since she and Prince William returned from their Seychelles honeymoon.
Thursday night the couple looked stunning at the 10th Anniversary ARK Gala in London. It was their first black tie event as man and wife. She wore a Jenny Packham pearlescent rose sequin gown with Swarovski crystal embellishments.
On May 24, shortly after returning to London following their sun and fun vacation, Kate and William had an opportunity to meet and greet visiting U.S. dignitaries. Dressed in a tan Reiss dress, the new princess and her husband met President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama behind closed doors for a low-key 20 minute chat.
A week later the royal couple attended Derby Day to watch the Queen’s horse compete. The duchess chose a white Reiss dress and Joseph jacket. She topped off the ensemble with a Whiteley hat that was purchased from Fenwick’s.
