“Beautiful Girls” singer Sean Kingston‘s Memorial Day weekend didn’t go as planned. The hip-hop singer and a female companion were riding a jet ski in Miami around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday when he lost control of the watercraft and crashed it into a bridge.
Sean, 21, and the girl were rescued by several bystanders who witnessed the pair slamming into the Palm Island Bridge. Miami Fire and Rescue transported Sean and his friend to the Ryder Trauma Center. His condition has not been released but has been reported by several sources as critical.
Kingston and scores of other hip-hop artists were in Miami Beach this weekend for Urban Beach Week.
The entertainer’s rep released this comment, “Sean Kingston was in a accident today. He has been stabilized and moved from Ryder Trauma Center to the intensive care unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He and his family thank everyone for the well wishes.”
