Comedian and actress Roseanne Barr is in talks to make a comeback on primetime television. NBC is in negotiations with Roseanne to appear on Chelsea Handler‘s Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea.
Handler, the series creator and executive producer said, “I’m talking to Roseanne Barr to do some guest episodes as my aunt. She’s interested in doing it, so it should be fun.”
Chelsea will have a role on the show but she won’t be playing herself. That 70’s Show star Laura Prepon will portray Chelsea, and Chelsea will appear as her sister.
The show is loosely based on Handler’s life as a 20-something young woman.
