The 2011 Billboard Awards definitely had some standout moments and big winners, but it was clear that the night belonged to Beyonce.

The singer’s achievements were acknowledged in a tribute video that featured Michelle Obama, Stevie Wonder, Babyface, Bono, Barbra Streisand, and Lady Gaga.

She then hit the stage and put on an amazing performance of her latest single Run the World (Girls), for which she received a standing ovation.

Following her performance, the songstress accepted the first ever Billboard Millenium Award from her mother, Tina Knowles. She humbly accepted, calling it one of the moments she would remember for the rest of her life. Bey thanked her family, her former group Destiny’s Child, and her husband Jay Z.
