Donald Trump sat down with Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos on Monday for a 35 minute interview. In a segment that was aired this morning, the real estate mogul continued to be noncommital regarding his plan to run for president.

In the wide-ranging interview, he vowed to declare by June whether he’ll seek the Republican nomination in 2012. He promised a full financial disclosure at that time but he won’t release his income tax returns unless President Obama releases his birth certificate.

Trump offered up: “I’d love to give my tax returns. I may tie my tax returns into Obama’s birth certificate.”

Polls by CNN, ABC and The Washington Post show Trump rising near the top of the unsettled GOP presidential field.

What does Obama have to say about the authenticity of his Hawaiian birth certificate? He recently told ABC that he doesn’t believe that most American’s are “really worrying about conspiracy theories … or birth certificates.”

Trump recently revealed that he has an investigative team digging up evidence that Obama was born outside of the United States — some ‘birthers’ believe he was actually born in Kenya.

George parroted the same question over and over: “What have they found?” Trump refused to answer and at one point said “it’s none of your business” followed by an emphatic “next question George.”

Ranking Republican Marilyn Davenport, who represents Orange County, California’s 72nd Assembly District, found herself up to her armpits in alligators yesterday over a controversial photo of Obama’s face superimposed on the body of a chimpanzee. She sent the “joke” via email to some of her colleagues, unaware that the website Orange County Weekly would turn it into a big deal.
