Charlie Sheen wasn’t winning this morning in an L.A. courtroom. The actor and his estranged wife Brooke Mueller showed up with their lawyers to discuss potential changes to the custody agreement involving their twin sons, Bob and Max.
Mueller, who suffered a public lapse in her sobriety last week, was intent on keeping the child custody arrangement exactly as it is now spelled out. Sheen, on the other hand, traveled across country to ask His Honor to grant him full custody of the boys.
Brooke refused a mandatory drug test last Friday, leading Sheen to assume that her breach in their agreement would compel the judge to turn the couple’s children over to him.
That is not the way it went down during the closed door hearing. The judge is fully aware that the primary caregiver for the twins is Mueller’s mother Moira Fiore. Despite Mueller’s crack cocaine addiction relapse, the judge did not turn the two-year-old boys over to their father.
Brooke had no comment when she exited the courthouse and Charlie had to immediately board a plane to Washington D.C., in order to appear Tuesday night at DAR Constitution Hall for his Violent Torpedo of Truth tour engagement.
We reported earlier today that Sheen’s ex-wife Denise Richards offered to take care of the twins while he finishes up his tour. More on Richards here.
