Kirstie Alley got some new ink last night, shortly after her Monday night performance on Dancing with the Stars. The tattoo, on her inner wrist, reads ‘Unbroken’. She tweeted: “I luv it. Like a tiny pet.”
Make no mistake, the decision to get the new art work was NOT a knee jerk reaction to the fall that she and her pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy took on the dance floor during Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
Kirstie has been tweeting about her date with an ink artist for several days — though the sentiment was still up in the air until yesterday.
The couple tweeted last night and today about their unfortunate tumble, and Maks appeared on GMA this morning to explain what really happened – those photos and video here.
Don’t be surprised to see Maks and Kirstie take the dance floor again tonight. The actress expressed a strong desire for a do-over to show DWTS viewers that their Rumba deserved the three 7’s.
One of this morning’s naysayers was Barbara Walters, who suggested on The View that perhaps she was being “cynical” but it appeared to her that the judges have been extremely kind to Kirstie because they want to see the popular actress stay on the show — not unlike what happened to Bristol Palin.
