It has definitely been a great year for Lady Gaga, who sold out shows and had huge radio hits with Telephone, Alejandro and Bad Romance. The over-the-top singer also takes the award for the best selling album of 2010.
The Fame Monster album was actually a re-release of Lady G’s debut album The Fame and between the two– she sold close to six million records.
Rounding out the top 5 best selling albums of the year were Eminem‘s Recovery, Justin Bieber‘s My World, Lady Antebellum‘s Need You Now, and Taylor Swift‘s Speak Now.

Lady Gaga has some work to do it she plans to top her 2010 efforts in 2011. The singer will release her new album Born This Way in the new year.
She also topped many lists with the most bizarre fashion statement of 2010 with her meat dress.
