Bristol Palin just plunked down $172,000 cash, her earnings from a successful stint on Dancing with the Stars, to buy a home. According to the Pinal County property records, she purchased a 5 bedroom residence in a development called Cobblestone Farms in Maricopa, a suburb of Phoenix.
The property was built in 2006 and originally sold for $330,000 but went into foreclosure in January. A couple from North Dakota bought it as a short term investment for $137,200 in May. According to the Arizona Republic, they fixed it up and put it back on the market. Looks like Bristol fell into a great deal.
The two-level, brown stucco house has a tile roof, two and a half baths, a three-car garage, a landscaped front and back yard, and access to a community pool.
The daughter of Sarah and Todd Palin plans to begin her studies at Arizona State University in the field of broadcasting. ASU boasts the famed Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Phoenix with its open terraces overlooking the hustle and bustle of the downtown scene.
The 20-year-old gained confidence on DWTS and earned enough money, with her third place finish, to further her high-school education. Juggling school and her two-year-old son Tripp won’t be a cake walk but we’re guessing she’ll do just fine.
